So on the final day of the Golden Triangle trip in India the group were up and at ‘em before dawn. The reason for this was the much anticipated visit to the Taj Mahal.

Some tour members had done an additional visit the night before to the Baby Taj, but not these two travellers. They only wanted the real deal and they were not disappointed.

The moment you walk through the archway and see that first glimpse of her, it’s such a WOW moment.

The next thing you notice is the quietness that surrounds you in an almost serene way.

The teacher in these two see it as the perfect place to take students to teach them about symmetry. It had been meticulously designed and surrounded by well cared for gardens. When you enter the building itself it’s pretty underwhelming. The overwhelming features are viewed from outside.

And with a little help from a clean up job on an iphone, it looks like Ms X finally got her Princess Di shot (well almost!)
