The Chand Baori Step Well has to be seen to be believed. It is situated between Agra and Delhi and therefore didn’t quite fit into this blog’s organisation. It deserves to head up a new page.It is a 7th or 8th century magnificent structure extending 30 m into the ground where townspeople sat on hot days to cool themselves.
2. The ladies selling ‘a square of toilet paper’ to this Aussie was always interesting , as customer didn’t have money on her but came equipped with her own tissues. We understood each other in the end.
3. The animals of India…. Words aren’t needed.
4. The food of India- Mr X had his fill and Ms X’s share too. Thank goodness for her friend, good old naan bread.
Summing up: India is NOT like Australia, but that’s why we travel, isn’t it?
