To say our group was becoming a little obsessed in finding another bear is an understatement. Kodiak Island was to be their last opportunity.

A quick look around the Kodiak National wildlife refuge centre, left plenty of time to go searching for those shy creatures.

If they followed the salmon, then it went without saying that they’d have a good chance at a peek at Yogi and Boo Boo.

Only problem was they needed help!

Along came a local called Casey with his van who spent 2 hours with them exploring all the secret haunts of Kodiak Bears.

All this flattened grass is evidence of bear activity and there was plenty of salmon, but…

..no bears!
Our Bear-Grills, Casey was feeling dejected.
We were too but that didn’t stop us looking.

We eventually gave up however Ms X did find something. Guess what?

Ahhhahhahh. BINGO. Another Street Library.

All the Kodiak bears enjoyed their hide and seek game with us, we’re sure. They won.
