It had been 20 years since our retirees had been to Singapore. The middle eastern routes had determined that Doha and Dubai were the places to catch your breath on the way home after a trip. Not this time however and these two were glad to catch some sun and relax in this northern neighbourhood.
After the business and pace of the African trip, there was not a lot that these two wanted to do other than take it easy. With that in mind, here are the three things they did when they weren’t around the pool reading:



- A visit to an old friend for a Singapore Sling at Raffles Hotel was had. Ms X had received a voucher from her daughters and their families for Mothers Day which made it extra special🥰.
- A trip to The Marina Bay Sands Hotel, observation deck provided a stunning view of the city, whilst sitting in a boat structure on top of 3 towers. Singapore sure does like bells and whistles, colour and light! Of course they chose the lounge entrance option which added to the experience.
- Ms X dragged Mr X to see the Gardens by the Bay, and put it simply, that’s what they are. Coincidentally, the gardens were enjoying a tribute to the Netherlands with all things Dutch, including tulips of course.
