Thirty five years ago Ms and Mr X went to Bali on their honeymoon. Why did they choose there? They have no idea. At that time, you didn’t hear of many going to Bali at all. It was untouched by Aussie-tourists, so to speak.
Ms X had been right across the wedding plans and it was Mr X who took on the job of organising the honeymoon-holiday. He booked a place called Pertamina Cottages that they both thought was the most luxurious and flashiest place they had ever been. Despite SO MANY Australians calling Bali their ‘local’ holiday destination now, these two had chosen other places in the world to see since 1981.
Their trip back in time in their 35th year of marriage was therefore significant for them at least!
